The Medical Spa Physician is a key member of our team at OneSpaWorld, responsible for administering cosmetic medical procedures to onboard guests. This role requires a high level of clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer cosmetic medical procedures to onboard guests, ensuring a safe and effective experience.
- Provide accurate and timely information to guests regarding medical procedures and products.
- Work closely with the Medi-Spa Sales Consultant to promote spa services and products.
- Review and approve service/treatment plans organized by the Medi-Spa Sales Consultant.
- Conduct patient follow-up as required and maintain accurate medical records.
- Be flexible with scheduling to support the needs of the spa and guests.
- Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product/supplies to assist with cost control.
- Follow service pricing policy set by OneSpaWorld.
- Uphold the standards of sanitation and sterilization as directed by ship and company policy and procedure.
- Manage medical product and supply inventory.
- Communicate to management any and all occurrences involving staff or guests in the spa that require attention.
- Handle guests' questions and concerns professionally and courteously.
- Provide accurate, appropriate and immediate responses to all requests by guests.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a quality work environment.
- Regularly attend, participate in and support training and staff meetings for the spa.
- Completed medical education and hold a medical degree from a recognized college or university.
- Hold a current valid medical license.
- Board certification or similar international certification in Plastic Surgery or Dermatology preferred but not required.
- Comfortable with giving presentations/speaking in front of large groups.
- Fluency in English.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
The Medical Spa Physician will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with guests and staff on a daily basis. The role requires flexibility with scheduling and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
