Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all activities related to operations and development of our company products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement production and quality control standards, and ensure all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.
  • Coordinate manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
  • Review production and operating reports and direct the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.
  • Perform administrative activities associated with the effective management of shop operations, including compiling, storing, and retrieving production data for reports.
  • Determine responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.
  • Train and ensure all assigned employees are aware of and comply with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Manage up to 5 subordinate supervisors who supervise 50+ employees in the Special Projects, Shipping and Receiving, Packing, Order Processing, Routing, Inventory and Auditing departments.
  • Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations management experience.
  • Minimum 1 year of cold storage experience required.
  • Must have experience working in production based/fast paced environment.
  • Warehouse performance management experience required.
  • Familiar with food safety policy (i.e. HACCP).
  • Ability to speak Spanish preferred.

Pay Range

$70,000-$80,000

The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
