Key Responsibilities- Platform Architecture and Deployment: Develop and maintain platform architecture in collaboration with platform vendors, infrastructure architects, and stakeholders.
- Technical Leadership: Serve as the technical lead for implementation, upgrade, migration, and decommission projects.
- Process Establishment: Establish platform system administration processes and best practices and work with the support organization to ensure appropriate support is provided.
- Vendor Management: Review vendor feature roadmaps, track release plans and features, and advise management on upgrade planning and change management.
- Tool Development: Plan and implement tools, utilities, and reports that help monitor the platform and continuously assess usage and issues.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with key business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Operational Analysis: Analyze and solve operational and optimization issues.
- Reporting and Presentations: Prepare and deliver presentations to management that inform them of issues and opportunities with our systems and platforms.
- Support and Escalation: Provide expert-level support for deployed solutions, interfacing with support staff and helping them to resolve issues within defined SLAs.
- Technical Experience: Experience demonstrating an increasing level of technical lead responsibility delivering and maintaining systems and platforms at the enterprise level.
- Hands-on Experience: Must possess substantial hands-on experience deploying, maintaining, and supporting solutions deployed for clinical business units.
