About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Architect to join our team at Archie Bolden. As a key member of our design and development team, you will be responsible for leading architectural projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Project Management: Oversee the development of architectural projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget and quality standards.
  2. Design and Development: Collaborate with our design and drafting teams to create innovative and functional architectural designs.
  3. Material Sourcing and Specification: Source and specify architectural materials, ensuring compliance with industry standards and building codes.
  4. Technical Advice and Research: Provide technical advice on factors affecting building developments, including user needs, site and building surveys, and regulatory requirements.
  5. Design Coordination and Documentation: Coordinate detailed design information, drawings, plans, and documents for statutory approvals.
  6. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
  7. Communication and Collaboration: Communicate design changes to the architectural and design teams, and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure project success.
Requirements
  1. Education: Bachelor or Master's degree in architecture from an accredited institution.
  2. Experience: Minimum 6 years of experience in residential and/or commercial sectors.
  3. Technical Skills: Expert in Revit and Microsoft Office, with excellent technical skills and understanding of details that can be communicated to other teams.
  4. Leadership and Communication Skills: Strong leadership skills, with the ability to delegate work to the drafting team, and excellent verbal and written communication skills (proficient in English and Spanish).
