Key Responsibilities:
Understand and articulate customer requirements
* Transform high-level visions from Product Managers into detailed specifications, collaborating closely with a variety of stakeholders, including finance, security, operations, support, and audit.
* Consolidate and express business needs into new product concepts or enhancements, working with Product Managers to develop user stories or features that impact the team backlog.
Contribute to the product vision and roadmap
* Define and continuously refine the product vision and business value in collaboration with business owners, product managers, SAFe ART Product Management, other Product Owners, and agile teams.
Support feature definition and scoping
* Lead the identification and prioritization of features or user stories with the Agile team, focusing on customer needs and value to meet market demands.
* Prioritize enabler work and sequence the architectural runway in partnership with Architects/Engineering.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure coherent prioritization, product alignment, and user experience across various ARTs/Products/Groups.
Manage and communicate workflow
* Ensure that features and user stories backlogs are updated before each release and sprint planning session.
* Maintain constant alignment and communication with agile counterparts and leadership.
* Conduct thorough analysis to ensure readiness of requirements.
* Document, analyze, trace, prioritize, and agree on requirements while managing changes and communicating with relevant stakeholders.
* Work closely with delivery teams to ensure timely development of the right functionalities.
* Participate in ongoing testing efforts.
Engage in Agile events
* Accept stories prior to Sprint reviews.
* Actively engage in team coordination meetings, PO synchronization meetings, draft plan reviews, and management meetings.
* Participate in System demos and Inspect & Adapt workshops if involved in SAFe.
* Contribute to the Community of Practice for Product Owners.
* Organize product demonstrations.
Promote the product
* Provide essential information and communicate the product's value to define its value proposition.
* Develop strategies as the product progresses through its lifecycle.
* Collaborate with Product Marketing and other teams to contribute to the pilot plan.
* Share content for product documentation, sales tools, and collateral.
* Create standard and customized presentations and demo scripts that showcase product value.
* Deliver presentations, demos, and training sessions to customers and customer-facing teams.
* Assist in preparing for key events to ensure successful product launches and follow-ups.
* Contribute to RFP/RFI processes for the product.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
· A minimum of 3 years of experience in Product Ownership.
· Possesses the necessary technical and functional expertise in their field.
· Familiarity with the travel and airline industry, including the IATA Offer/Order/Retail transformation vision.
· Specific knowledge of Navitaire's operations and its relevance to the role.
· Agile mindset.
· Proficient in written and spoken English.
· Holds a University Degree in a Business-related field.
