Job Summary

The Front-End Engineer (FE) is a key member of our team, responsible for completing front-end tasks and providing support to our web applications. The FE is a self-motivated individual who can work independently on basic tasks, assuming ownership for the design and programming required.

For more complex work, the FE relies on existing designs and seeks guidance from more senior coworkers. The FE should also be able to provide reasonable estimates for tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop web applications using various technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Work experience with popular JavaScript frameworks and cross-browser compatibility
  • Understanding of recent development practices (Mobile First, MVC, Object Oriented development)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality web applications
  • Provide support and maintenance for existing web applications

Requirements

  • BS in Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
  • At least 1-2 years' experience working with front-end technologies
  • Knowledge of cross-browser and responsive development
  • English level B1 or higher
