About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced People and Culture Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in shaping the employee experience and driving business results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a trusted advisor to employees, providing guidance and support in times of need.
- Identify and implement initiatives to improve employee engagement, retention, and overall well-being.
- Manage the HR budget, including benefits, labor, and salary reports, to ensure cost-effective and compliant practices.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employment files and records, both manually and electronically.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive business growth and employee satisfaction.
- Administer and train employees on HR-related policies and procedures.
- Organize and supervise employee recreation programs, including holiday parties, children's events, and general meetings.
- Respond to and attend employee-related hearings and investigations.
- Support the Safety Committee in promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
- College education or equivalent experience.
- Two to four years of experience in a related position, preferably in the hospitality industry.
- Working knowledge of labor laws and regulations.
- Ability to operate computer equipment and software.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
