Key Responsibilities
The Premium Hub-Centre of Expertise (CoE) within the SAP Adoption Services Center delivers specialized knowledge in application and technology domains to provide exceptional support to our MaxAttention, Active Attention, and Value Assurance clientele. As a Senior Consultant in Transportation Management and Logistics, you will evaluate the End-to-End Supply Chain Execution Process for our global clients and communicate your insights and recommendations to IT leaders and executives. Your responsibilities will encompass the following:
- Facilitate functional design validation workshops, identify potential risks, and propose strategies to enhance business processes, system automation, and investment protection. Senior Consultants are expected to address critical business process design challenges and collaborate closely with SAP development to offer best practices and reference architectures to clients.
- Support client implementations, offer architectural advice, and share best practices for business processes, enhancing customer productivity, ensuring high levels of satisfaction, and managing infrastructures that enable clients to seize new opportunities.
- Conduct thorough root cause analyses utilizing technical and programming expertise, delivering solutions and services in complex environments across various fields. The intricate landscape may include on-premise systems, public and private cloud solutions, and troubleshooting issues across diverse systems.
- Lead critical customer escalations and drive urgent issues to resolution. Through these efforts, SAP and CoE cultivate a trusted advisor relationship with clients. SAP CoE offers a comprehensive range of services covering planning, implementation, operations, upgrades, and ongoing improvement, ensuring optimal performance of SAP solutions and maximum benefits for clients.
- Act as De-escalation Architects to identify key issues, develop and execute action plans, and analyze system landscapes and technical challenges. Lead assessments of core business processes across all applications and create detailed service plans for clients.
- Develop expertise and support services for emerging products/components such as Machine Learning and IoT, and formulate concepts for service/business processes and product development. Facilitate knowledge transfer both internally and externally.
Required Skills and Competencies
- Essential:
- 4 to 8+ years of experience with SAP products in key areas such as SAP Transportation Management embedded in SAP S/4HANA, SAP SCM, SAP Logistics Business Network, or SAP Global Track and Trace.
- Strong customer focus and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to perform under pressure and navigate ambiguity in a dynamic environment. Must be a self-starter capable of delivering high-quality content within tight deadlines.
- Exceptional presentation skills, with the ability to design, prepare, and deliver impactful presentations.
- Confident, communicative, and diplomatic demeanor; strategic and analytical thinking; adept at coordination and decision-making.
- Team-oriented, proactive in networking, results-driven, and eager to learn.
- Willingness to travel 30% within the Americas Region.
- A minimum of a bachelor's degree in mathematics, computer science, or engineering is preferred.
- Preferred:
- Technical and development experience in ABAP, Java, BOPF, SAP FPM, and Cloud Foundry.
Language Proficiency
- English - Proficient in spoken and written form, as support will be provided to clients across the Americas, including LATAM and North America.
- Spanish - Proficient.
- Portuguese - Optional.
