Position Overview:

Our Bogota office is seeking a Senior Consultant to join our Advisory team. The ideal candidate will be based in Bogota to work on a variety of engagements in the Americas, providing advice to clients on infrastructure project procurement, structuring, and financing. The focus will be on private sector participation and sustainability principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams for deal advisory, due diligence, and consulting projects.
  • Conduct business planning, economic, contractual, and financial analysis for project assignments.
  • Prepare financial models for feasibility assessments, fund raising, and value for money evaluations.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary teams and mentor junior staff to develop analytical and consulting skills.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and engagements.
  • Consult with clients to identify needs and goals for each assignment.
  • Review commercial issues of proposals to ensure appropriate risk allocation.
  • Identify and lead pre-positioning activities for future work and lead proposal efforts.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6-10 years of relevant technical advisory and/or project management experience.
  • Advanced written, verbal, presentation, and communication skills in English.
  • Experience in infrastructure project delivery, project financing, and sustainable development.
  • Knowledge of transport infrastructure, social infrastructure, and real estate sectors.
  • Experience in public-private partnerships, concession, and project finance structures.
  • Exceptional quantitative and analytical skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in business administration and/or finance.
  • Knowledge of financial modeling.
  • Track-record of leading and managing successful teams.
