About the Role:The successful candidate will support engagements with our clients by developing, delivering, and implementing projects and solutions on behalf of issuers, acquirers, and merchants. This involves working with large volumes of data, extracting and manipulating datasets using standard tools, and enhancing and optimizing codes that scale critical business processes.
- Adept at creative and critical thinking, the ideal candidate can deconstruct problems and transform insights into large-scale and state-of-the-art solutions.
- Experience in advanced analytics and statistical modeling, including Linear Regression, Logistic Regression, Clustering methods, Classification methods (Decision Trees/Random Forest), among others.
- Ability to work with distributed computing technologies, including Hadoop (MapReduce, Pig, and Hive) and Spark to write data analytic processing jobs against structured and unstructured data.
To succeed in this role, you must have 2+ years of relevant work experience and a Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of relevant work experience. Additionally, you should be able to come up with practical algorithms and write high-quality code quickly for analyzing gigabyte to terabyte-scale data.
You will also need to possess strong teamwork, relationship management, interpersonal skills, and delivery-oriented abilities. Fluency in English is essential for this role.
