Role Overview
The PTP Senior Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely execution of diverse Accounts Payable functions within a dynamic Global Business Services (GBS) environment. All activities must adhere to Zimmer Biomet's policies and guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

  • Invoice Management:
    • Ensure accurate and timely vendor invoice approval and processing.
    • Address queries and resolve issues with vendors and stakeholders.
    • Manage and rectify matching discrepancies.
    • Assist internal stakeholders in utilizing invoice approval tools.
    • Maintain communication with requestors, buyers, and approvers.
    • Collaborate closely with Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) teams.
    • Resolve issues related to Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt (GR/IR).
    • Escalate issues to management as necessary.
    • Work with IT teams during system upgrades and enhancements.
  • Vendor Master Data Oversight:
    • Validate the completeness of vendor master data documentation.
    • Follow up with vendors and internal stakeholders regarding documentation.
    • Maintain and validate vendor master data.
    • Collaborate with the Sourcing team.
    • Support SOX and compliance controls.
    • Assist in projects such as integrations and annual vendor reviews.
  • Payment Processing:
    • Execute payments in accordance with established guidelines in a timely manner.
    • Perform process controls and validations for completeness.
    • Identify and eliminate erroneous or duplicate payments.
    • Resolve escalations with vendors and stakeholders.
    • Prioritize and review payments for final validation.
    • Support SOX and compliance controls.

Qualifications

  • Professional degree in a finance-related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience or a combination of 2 years of relevant experience and advanced education.
  • Advanced education is advantageous.
  • Preferred experience in accounts payable functions.
  • Experience with automation tools is a plus.
  • Note: Resume submission in English is required for consideration.

Travel Requirements
Minimal travel expected, less than 5%.
