Job Title: Leasing Consultant - University Housing Expert

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Leasing Consultant to join our team at University Partners. As a key member of our leasing team, you will be responsible for marketing our apartment community to prospective residents, handling day-to-day issues with current residents, and coordinating lease renewals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all residents, prospects, and visitors to the community.
  • Effectively lease apartments in accordance with occupancy goals and follow Fair Housing Standards in all dealings with prospects and residents.
  • Conduct outside marketing under the direction of the Assistant Manager and Community Manager.
  • Complete lease paperwork and files for each resident, including credit and income verifications and background checks.
  • Ensure the condition of leased apartments prior to move-in and conduct final inspections.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A professional and enthusiastic demeanor resulting from sales, leasing, marketing, and customer service experience.
  • Excellent customer service, sales, and negotiation skills.
  • Good communication and listening skills.
  • The ability to read and understand lease documents and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions.

Requirements:

In order to thrive in this environment, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Knowledgeable in Microsoft Word and Excel, and preferred knowledge in Entrata.
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and follow directions from a supervisor.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary of $50,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Working Environment:

This role is based in an office environment with occasional outdoor work and travel within the area.
