About the Role

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Oowlish Technology.

Job Description

You will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable back-end solutions using Java, Python, or C#. You will also collaborate on projects requiring GIS/Mapping Technology expertise and manage data-intensive tasks, including Big Data processing.

Leveraging AWS (Amazon Web Services), you will design and deploy cloud-based applications, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure efficient and reliable deployment processes, and troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance back-end systems for performance, scalability, and security.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain scalable back-end solutions using Java, Python, or C#.
  • Collaborate on projects requiring GIS/Mapping Technology expertise and manage data-intensive tasks, including Big Data processing.
  • Leverage AWS (Amazon Web Services) to design and deploy cloud-based applications.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins to ensure efficient and reliable deployment processes.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance back-end systems for performance, scalability, and security.
Requirements
  • Proven back-end development experience with Java, Python, or C#.
  • Expertise in GIS/Mapping Technology and the ability to manage and process large datasets, preferably involving Big Data.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS services for cloud computing and application deployment.
  • Proficiency with Jenkins for implementing continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute effectively to a collaborative team environment.
