Job Overview

The Portfolio Strategist plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective management of the company's real estate portfolio. This involves partnering with businesses to create value through goal-oriented initiatives, cost efficiency, and functional discipline.

Main Responsibilities

  • Delivery of complex commercial deals, forming part of the Group Location Footprint and related portfolio plans.
  • Portfolio Management: Review and monitor allocated property portfolios to ensure familiarity with properties, identify opportunities, and provide input into feasibility studies.
  • Develop strategic solutions for commercial deals in conjunction with the Strategy & Portfolio team and stakeholders.
  • Acquisition/Disposal: Lead/support activities for allocated projects/portfolios, including country/business investments/divestments.
  • Leasehold Administration: Deliver activities such as lease renewals, rent review/re-gearing, forecasting, and budgeting.
  • Governance: Execute transactions and projects in accordance with the Real Estate Process Model (REPM) using associated tools and applications.

Key Challenges

The diverse nature of the real estate portfolio and commercial deals presents significant challenges. The position is crucial in delivering top-quartile performance through project delivery, collaboration with internal stakeholders, and external suppliers/stakeholders is essential.
