Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled QA Tester Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of our applications from development to post-deployment.
Your primary duties will include:
- Detailed Testing: Perform thorough testing of applications in QA/Staging environment prior to deployment to production.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze and monitor the performance of applications post-deployment to identify defects or performance bottlenecks.
- Test Planning: Develop and implement test plans for application bugs/defects to ensure effective testing.
- Test Result Review: Review and approve test results, ensuring all issues are properly documented and resolved before release.
- Test Metrics Development: Develop and track test metrics to monitor test progress and overall quality of applications.
- Quality Maintenance: Help maintain the quality of applications and ensure timely delivery to customers by identifying and addressing issues early.
You will work closely with our product team to provide feedback on new features and enhancements from a QA perspective.
Requirements and Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering).
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality control, with a focus on software testing.
- Atlassian XRAY: Experience with Atlassian XRAY for test management within Jira, including creating test cases, managing test plans, and running test executions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills to assess complex systems and identify edge cases for testing.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills to diagnose and debug issues across different layers of the application.
