Cyber Security Specialist

This role involves using a risk-based methodology to perform detailed technical analysis of cybersecurity risks, implementing security requirements for integrated systems, and advising stakeholders on defense-in-depth strategies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead large-scale security projects, conduct urgent security testing and risk assessments, analyze security breaches, document corporate security policies, develop security awareness training, and coordinate security plans with third-party suppliers or cloud service providers.
  • Provide guidance to Analysts and Specialists.
Requirements:
  • Total Work Experience: Minimum Required 4-6 years, Preferred 7-9 years.
  • Work Experience in This Field: Minimum Required 4-6 years, Preferred 7-9 years.
  • English Proficiency: Fluent.
  • Work Schedule: 8 AM PST to 5 PM PST, preferred.
  • Required Education: Minimum Required Bachelor's degree, Preferred Master's degree.
  • Required Branches of Study: Prefer Cyber security certificates like CISA, CISSP.
  • Technical Skills: Infrastructure, Cyber Security, OS Vulnerabilities, Cloud, Excel, Vulnerability Scanning.
  • Leadership and Project Management: Ability to lead OS or non-OS patching efforts across the enterprise, Ability to lead medium or large enterprise-wide projects, engage multiple groups, conduct presentations, and meetings.
  • Soft Skills: Strong communication skills for engaging internal and external stakeholders.
  • Preferred certifications: Cyber security certificates like CISA, CISSP.
