**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief SolarWinds Administrator to join our team at Bella Information Systems, Llc in Washington DC.

**About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for administering, supporting, and operating the SolarWinds platform, including Network Performance Monitor, Network Configuration Manager, Server & Application Monitor, Traffic Analyzer, and IP Address Manager.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Supporting SolarWinds installation, configuration, and implementation
  • Providing expertise on SolarWinds installation and testing & tuning
  • Determining devices to monitor, including IP addresses, ports, and protocols
  • Troubleshooting installation problems
  • Documenting lessons learned and tracking installations using web console
  • Addressing and resolving support tickets for SolarWinds
  • Performing day-to-day checks and monitoring
  • Detecting, reporting, diagnosing, and resolving performance issues
  • Providing weekly and monthly report metrics and dashboards

**Requirements:**

To be considered for this role, you must have at least 7 years of experience working in a large complex environment (greater than 4K infrastructure components and applications).

A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field is required; equivalent years of experience will be considered in lieu of degree.

You must have a competent understanding of mixed-technology solutions and excellent troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and documentation skills are also required, as well as the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical executives and managers.

**Salary:** $110,000 - $140,000 per year, depending on experience.
