Job Description

As a Facilities Management Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning, controlling, and directing property-related activities such as the identification, acquisition, or lease of offices, land, and buildings.

Main Responsibilities

  • Manage, coordinate, and ensure the preservation of all buildings, their maintenance, construction, modification, and optimal use of facilities.
  • Coordinate teams in some countries of the region (North; Colombia, Panama, Ecuador, and Peru), in addition to providing specialized technical support according to the needs of the sites.
  • Manage and coordinate service contracts and suppliers of the sites related to the maintenance of the facilities (electrical, generator, UPS, common areas; reception, toilets, meeting rooms).
  • Manage the cost center inherent to the responsibilities under your responsibility within the region.

Requirements

  • A professional in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, administration, or a related field.
  • At least 3-4 years' experience in a similar position as a facilities maintenance manager, facilities supervisor, and/or facilities management.
  • Must have knowledge of property and facilities management, construction processes, electrical and mechanical installations, building and facilities regulations, space management, management and administration of services, labor, and contractors.
  • Demonstrable experience managing operational teams such as general services staff, messengers, receptionists, and building maintenance operators is required as an essential part of the role.
  • Conversational English B2 as you will be working with project teams in Germany and Brazil. Portuguese would be an advantage.

Salary

The estimated annual salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 USD, depending on qualifications and experience.
