Key Responsibilities
  1. Payroll Processing: Assist in the accurate and timely processing of payroll for employees, including data entry, calculations, and verification of hours worked.
  2. Payroll Record Maintenance: Support the maintenance of payroll records and employee information in the payroll system, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
  3. Employee Inquiries: Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters, providing assistance and resolving issues as needed.
  4. Payroll Reporting: Assist in the preparation of payroll reports, including earnings statements, tax filings, and other relevant documentation.
  5. Process Improvement: Contribute to process improvements and efficiency enhancements in payroll operations, identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining.
  6. Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality of payroll information and handle sensitive data with discretion.
Qualifications & Experience
  1. Education: Student at least 9 semester or University degree or High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in accounting, finance, or related field is a plus.
  2. Experience: Prior experience in payroll processing or related administrative roles is desirable.
  3. Technical Skills: Familiarity with payroll software systems (e.g., VISMA, SARA) and Microsoft Excel.
  4. Knowledge: Basic understanding of payroll regulations, tax laws, and compliance requirements.
  5. Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations, excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
