About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to join our team at TMF Group. As a Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining large-scale data systems that support our business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement data pipelines and architectures to support business intelligence and analytics initiatives
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data warehouses and data lakes using cloud-based technologies such as Azure Synapse and Snowflake
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop data solutions to meet those needs
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into our data warehouses and data lakes
  • Design and implement data visualization and reporting solutions using tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Develop and maintain data quality and governance processes to ensure data accuracy and integrity
  • Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to develop and maintain data models and data dictionaries
  • Develop and maintain documentation and knowledge base to support data engineering efforts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in data engineering, data warehousing, and business intelligence
  • Strong experience with cloud-based technologies such as Azure Synapse, Snowflake, and AWS
  • Strong experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau
  • Strong experience with ETL/ELT tools such as Informatica and Talend
  • Strong experience with data quality and governance tools such as Trifacta and Alation
  • Strong experience with data modeling and data dictionary tools such as ERwin and PowerDesigner
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects
