Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Program Manager to join our team at JVIS USA, LLC. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to ensure the successful launch of programs from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide program leadership and direction to ensure overall coordination and synchronization of program activities.
  • Act as the primary interface to customers for all program issues.
  • Identify, monitor, and manage program timing to ensure timely launches.
  • Initiate, maintain, and publish the program open issues report.
  • Work with stakeholders to address critical issues and establish countermeasures.
  • Determine and approve product specifications or functional requirements to meet customer needs.
  • Receive cost estimates and prepare quotes; control expenditures in line with job cost tracking.
  • Initiate the review of lessons learned/best practices of other programs and document new ones from each project.
  • Assist manufacturing facilities in on-time launch and customer support needs as required.
  • Will travel as required to support customer requirements both domestically and internationally.
  • Engage in continuous improvement opportunities as required.

Requirements:

  • Engineering degree in mechanical engineering, design, or other related engineering discipline preferred.
  • Five years of experience in program management work for automotive plastics both interior and exterior.
  • Must have program launch experience from concept through start of production, specifically with Honda.
  • Understanding of the automotive industry, product development, and customer practices required.
  • Understanding of plastic molding processes and other manufacturing processes is an asset.
  • Must be a self-starter able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
  • Must have strong organizational skills.
