We are a dynamic organization seeking an English and Spanish speaking Leasing Consultant to join our team at our property in the Scott Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this position is between $42,000 and $48,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and $21.00/hr to $23.00/hr hourly wage, with opportunities for commission.

Job Description

This role serves as the face of UIP and the property, often the first point of contact for prospective residents. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Gaining an understanding of potential resident needs and providing information about which apartments best fit those needs;
  2. Ensuring curb appeal and apartments are well-maintained each morning;
  3. Following up on prospect internet and phone leads to set appointments;
  4. Providing exceptional customer service to encourage prospective tenants to lease from UIP;
  5. Processing applications, gathering necessary verifications, and preparing move-in paperwork;
  6. Conducting move-in orientations and ensuring all requirements are met;
  7. Maintaining accurate records of leasing activity, traffic, market information, and other vital data;
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years' leasing experience, preferably in residential settings;
  • Proficiency in Spanish;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong time management and organizational abilities;
  • A proven ability to sell and develop creative solutions with high conversion ratios;
  • The capacity to build rapport quickly with prospective residents;
  • A motivated self-starter attitude with excellent teamwork skills;
