Job Description

Our data team is renowned for its expertise across engineering, analysis, architecture, modeling, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data science. This discipline is responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights, building robust data infrastructures, and enabling data-driven decision-making and innovation through advanced analytics and predictive modeling.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate with Endava's customers to analyze existing systems and develop a plan for migrating databases and data processing systems to the cloud.
  2. Design and implement a cloud data strategy, encompassing security posture, target operating model, DR strategy, and other critical aspects.
  3. Deliver end-to-end data solutions – from early concept and planning, through early PoCs and benefits analysis, all the way to production rollouts.
  4. Enhance the client's data landscape by improving data lineage, quality, and reliability.
  5. Introduce MLOps culture and help organizations adopt AI/ML-based solutions.
  6. Participate in the technical advisory and cloud infrastructure team responsible for:
    1. Securing foundational Data Lakes and Data Meshes implementations.
    2. Automated provisioning of infrastructure and pipelines.
    3. Cloud-ready ETL/ELT architectures.
    4. Presenting analytical findings on cutting-edge BI Dashboards.
Qualifications
  1. Comprehensive understanding of the entire software development lifecycle, CI & CD, as well as Data/MLOps approach.
  2. Expert knowledge of SQL and at least one language used in Data Analytics/Science space (Python, R, SAS).
  3. Knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, C#, C++).
  4. Knowledge of Big Data and Orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow or Spark.
  5. Experience working with Relational and NoSQL databases.
  6. Working experience with BI Tools (Looker, Power BI, Tableau, Data Studio).
  7. Basic understanding of GIT and various automation servers (Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI).
  8. Knowledge of messaging systems.
  9. Basic knowledge of containers, Docker, and Kubernetes.
  10. Cloud certifications such as Associate Cloud Engineer will be an asset.
