Role Overview:

The CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) FRS Manager is a key contributor within the SOC (Security Operations Center) responsible for overseeing the CSIRT First Response Service (FRS) and engaging in the investigation of cybersecurity threats affecting the travel sector. This role demands a blend of technical acumen, leadership capabilities, and a proactive stance on managing cybersecurity risks, alongside the ability to perform under pressure to safeguard the organization from cyber threats. The CSIRT FRS Team Lead is vital in upholding the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of Amadeus' information assets.

The ideal candidate will be intelligent, driven, detail-oriented, and dedicated to achieving outstanding results for our clients. This position presents an excellent opportunity in security operations within a growing organization, offering advancement prospects for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of CSIRT FRS Analysts, cultivating an atmosphere of continuous improvement and professional development.
  • Manage team scheduling to ensure service availability during all defined operational hours throughout the year.
  • Supervise the monitoring, detection, analysis, and response to security incidents and alerts.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for the CSIRT FRS team, facilitating communication with other SOC teams, management, and external stakeholders as needed.
  • Continuously assess and enhance CSIRT FRS processes and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant security policies and regulations.
  • Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports on security incidents, trends, and overall CSIRT FRS performance to senior management and relevant stakeholders.
  • Develop and oversee training programs to enhance the team's skills and knowledge, promoting a culture of continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with other security organization members to devise and implement strategies to protect the organization's IT infrastructure.
  • Stay informed about the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Industry certifications such as CISSP, GCIH, GCIA, CCNA, CEH, or equivalent are advantageous.
  • Over 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership capacity, in one or more of the following areas:
    • Design, planning, and management of cloud infrastructure.
    • Digital Forensics / Incident Response.
    • SOC Analyst, SOC Management, Incident Management experience.
    • SIEM / Correlation / Ticketing / Alerting.
    • Malware analysis, reverse engineering, penetration testing, and network security.
  • Strong understanding of security and audit standards (e.g., ISO17799, ITSEC, PCI/DSS, ISO27000, COBIT, SSAE, etc.).
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire a team, with excellent problem-solving skills and the capacity to make decisive decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, self-motivation, and the ability to thrive in a matrix environment while thinking creatively.
  • Self-disciplined, self-motivated, and capable of organizing and prioritizing time effectively.
  • A passion for learning and implementing new ideas.
  • Ability to function in a fast-paced environment and manage stress effectively.
  • Capacity to establish and maintain effective relationships with personnel at all levels, both internally and externally.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills to achieve results in a multicultural setting; additional foreign languages are a plus.
