Project Manager - Construction Projects

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join our team at Turner & Townsend Group. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the overall construction effort, advising at a strategic level, and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Assist the client Project Manager in overseeing the overall construction effort.
  2. Advise at a strategic level on project conception, including providing advice on approaches to achieve client objectives.
  3. Procure resources and manage contracts.
  4. Own contract and budget for direct contracts.
  5. Create and coordinate the Project Execution Plan.
  6. Manage risks related to construction project execution and health, safety, and environment.
  7. Support the design process and review drawings against project requirements.
  8. Assist the client Project Manager in reviewing and reporting on the overall construction effort.
  9. Coordinate and support the RFI and Submittal process.
  10. Issue effective meeting minutes and documentation.
  11. Assist the client Project Manager in coordinating the construction effort.
  12. Establish success criteria for the project.
  13. Identify and support quality, safety, health, and environmental issues.
  14. Develop and execute a contractor and overall purchasing strategy.
  15. Act as project schedule owner and maintain the schedule.
  16. Conduct kick-off and regular meetings with key project stakeholders.
  17. Review as-built documents and other closeout items.
Requirements:
  1. 10 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction.
  2. Engineering or Architecture degree.
  3. Proven track record as a Lead Project Manager, specialist in performance measurement and analysis, and delivering successful solutions for clients.
  4. PMI certification is a plus.
  5. Commercial project experience, ideally with warehouse building, retail store, shopping center.
  6. Fluent in English and Spanish, to conduct meetings, create reports, and do presentations.
