Job Title: Quality Management Systems Sr Specialist

Zimmer Biomet is a global medical technology leader, and we're committed to providing mobility and renewed life to people around the world. As a Quality Management Systems Sr Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Facilitate Corrective Action Preventive Action (CAPA) investigations to solve quality-related problems.
  • Resolve issues by identifying and applying solutions from acquired technical experience and guided precedents.
  • Assist in planning and fulfilling investigation tasks, implementation tasks, and verification of effectiveness tasks.
  • Ensure thorough documentation of all CAPA procedural requirements.
  • Work effectively with all departments to develop a team atmosphere.
What You'll Create Impact:
  • Provide coaching for CAPA investigation from initiation through containment, root cause analysis, implementation, and verification of effectiveness.
  • Facilitate and coach on the problem-solving process and challenge technical content.
  • Assist with risk analysis of issues and ensure proper containment actions are applied.
  • Verify all procedural CAPA requirements are met.
  • Assist to identify and escalate resource constraints/requirements, as applicable.
Requirements:
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.
  • Demonstrated CAPA experience.
  • Detail-oriented with ability to deliver, meet deadlines, and have results orientation.
  • English proficiency.
  • Strong technical writing skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and root cause analysis.
Education and Experience:
  • B.S. in engineering or an alternative Bachelor's degree program with certification as a quality engineer (e.g. CQE).
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Quality Engineering role, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
