About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Backend Developer to join our team at StoneX. As a key member of our product development team, you will be responsible for implementing parts of our system architecture using best practices in an agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement software solutions using C#.Net,.Net Core, and ASP.Net Web API.
  2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement micro-service architectures using containers.
  3. Work with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and NoSQL databases to develop and implement data storage solutions.
  4. Design and implement real-time messaging architectures.
  5. Participate in Scrum ceremonies and contribute to the development of high-quality software.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to improve our system architecture.

Requirements

  1. 4+ years of experience with C#.Net and.Net Core.
  2. 3+ years of experience with ASP.Net Web API.
  3. 2+ years of experience with Cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS.
  4. 2+ years of experience with micro-service architectures using containers.
  5. 3+ years of experience with relational database development and architecture with Microsoft SQL Server - SQL ANSI.
  6. 2+ years of experience with NoSQL database technologies.
  7. 2+ years of experience with real-time messaging architectures.
  8. Strong understanding of multi-threaded applications.
  9. 2+ years of experience participating in a Scrum development environment.
  10. Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming.
  11. Experience working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  12. Demonstrated ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  13. Ability to remain flexible during times of change and react to project adjustments and alterations promptly, efficiently, and positively.
  14. Strong written and oral communication skills.
  15. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  16. Ability to influence colleagues and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  17. Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under time constraints as necessary.
  18. Must be authorized to work in the US for any employer.

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with CI/CD via Azure DevOps.
  2. Financial Services experience using charting technologies like TradingView with exchange market data providers.
  3. Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Blazor, Objective C, Kotlin, Microsoft Azure, Message queue-based designs/implementations, Git, SSIS, ASP.Net Web API, Firebase.
