PEGA Solutions Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled PEGA Solutions Specialist to join our team at ScotiaTech, a business unit within ScotiaGBS, a Scotiabank Group company located in Bogota, Colombia.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing components of enterprise applications, providing consultative guidance on all project assignments, and working closely with key business stakeholders, technical teams, regulatory and compliance groups, and senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities:- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Work with key business stakeholders, technical teams, regulatory and compliance groups, and senior leadership to ensure that system architectures are functional, robust, and scalable within the context of enterprise standards.
- Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support a solution.
- Assure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas.
- Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field required.
- 4-7 years of experience required.
- Development experience in PEGA 7.X, 8.x is required. (or ability to learn, experience in Java).
- Experience with cloud-based application development and support a plus.
- Familiarity with using monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace) a plus.
- SQL experience a plus.
- Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience in following the iterative and Agile SDLC.
