PEGA Solutions Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled PEGA Solutions Specialist to join our team at ScotiaTech, a business unit within ScotiaGBS, a Scotiabank Group company. As a PEGA Solutions Specialist, you will play a key role in designing and developing components of enterprise applications and providing consultative guidance on all project assignments.
Key Responsibilities- Champion a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems, and knowledge.
- Work closely with key business stakeholders, technical teams, regulatory and compliance groups, and senior leadership to ensure that system architectures are functional, robust, and scalable within the context of enterprise standards.
- Develop and implement technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
- Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation, and analysis efforts.
- Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement, and support a solution.
- Ensure quality security and compliance requirements are met for supported areas.
- Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment, adapting to change quickly and adjusting work accordingly in a positive manner.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering, or related field.
- 4-7 years of experience in PEGA 7.X, 8.x, or ability to learn, experience in Java.
- Experience with cloud-based application development and support a plus.
- Familiarity with using monitoring tools (Splunk, Dynatrace) a plus.
- SQL experience a plus.
- Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and successful deployment of large-scale projects from end-to-end.
- Hands-on experience in following the iterative and Agile SDLC.
