Job Title: GPE Expert - Business Operations (Tools, Systems & Vendor Admin)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled GPE Expert - Business Operations (Tools, Systems & Vendor Admin) to join our procurement team. As a key member of this group, you will play a vital role in supporting our global sourcing operations by focusing on tools, systems, and supplier management.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with master data within procurement systems, ensuring accurate supplier information and product catalogs.
  • Support the rollout of new procurement tools, upgrades, and process improvements, driving continuous efficiency gains.
  • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new system functionalities, guaranteeing seamless integration.
  • Develop and maintain user guides and training materials for new procurement tools and features.
  • Support the deployment of new tools, upgrades, and system enhancements, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Foster strong relationships with our supplier base, facilitating communication between internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Address supplier inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and analyze supplier performance to identify opportunities for consolidation.
  • Develop and implement strategies to streamline the supplier base, ensuring optimal vendor partnerships.
  • Maintain and update supplier information and categorization within systems, ensuring data accuracy.
  • Develop and maintain reporting templates for supplier performance metrics, providing actionable insights.
  • Manage escalations to the Center of Excellence (COE) for complex system issues, working collaboratively to ensure effective problem-solving.
  • Participate in UAT activities for new procurement system features and upgrades, contributing to a smooth rollout.
  • Identify and escalate complex procurement system issues to the COE for resolution, ensuring minimal downtime.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for improvement in supplier relationships and procurement practices, driving business growth.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot any downtime issues, and generate reports on supplier performance, spend analysis, and key metrics.

Your Ideal Background:

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a procurement or related role.
  • A strong understanding of procurement processes and best practices.
  • Proven experience working with procurement tools and systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
