As the Senior Operations Director for International Meetings and Events, you will oversee all operational, commercial, and financial aspects of the market.

About the RoleThis dynamic role involves overseeing employee engagement, client retention, new sales, and financial growth. You will lead cross-functional teams, identify areas for efficiency improvement, and ensure compliance achievement. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing training strategies, managing client and supplier relationships, and fostering a culture of teamwork.

- Organize and manage multiple complex projects efficiently.
- Think innovatively and strategically to solve problems.
- Build and maintain strong client and supplier relationships.

- Paying attention to detail and taking ownership and accountability among projects.
- Participate in industry events to represent our brand in the market.
- Implementation of standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Conduct performance reviews and establish plans with individuals to ensure maximized performance against goals.
- Bachelor's degree; Master's degree in the industry preferred.
- Minimum of five years of experience in meetings/events/program management with P&L responsibility.
- Minimum of five years of experience in managing people.
- Minimum of five years of experience managing vendors and negotiating contracts.
- Experience in Life Science/Pharmaceutical Accounts is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- First-hand experience in domestic and international group travel.
- Extensive knowledge of Meetings Industry best practices, trends, and key players in the market.
