We are seeking a highly skilled Junior Automation Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team at AgileEngine. As a key member of our QA team, you will be responsible for planning and prioritizing testing activities, writing, designing, and executing automated tests, and defining, implementing, and monitoring testing processes.
Key Responsibilities- Test Planning and Execution: Plan and prioritize testing activities to ensure thorough testing of our software applications.
- Automation Testing: Write, design, and execute automated tests using scripts that run testing functions automatically.
- Test Process Management: Define, implement, and monitor testing processes for all phases of the testing cycle.
- Test Coverage and Automation: Maximize test coverage and identify automation opportunities for any needed features of the system.
- Collaboration and Communication: Partner closely with engineering and product leads to collaborate on finding efficiencies and identifying areas of improvement.
- Documentation and Support: Write documentation for automated processes, including test plans, test procedures, and test cases, and provide manual testing support for engineering initiatives when required.
- Issue Tracking and Resolution: Log and document bugs in the tracking system and assist in production issues/live site testing when needed.
- Automation Experience: 2 years of experience in automation testing is a must.
- Programming Skills: Experience in programming languages such as JavaScript, Java, or Python is required.
- Language Proficiency: A native level of Spanish is required.
- Offshore/Nearshore/Onshore Experience: Work experience with offshore/nearshore/onshore models is a must.
- Scrum Methodology: Experience with Scrum methodology is preferred.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in being proactive to raise potential issues within the team and external systems or partners.
- eCommerce Experience: Deep understanding of eCommerce products, platforms, and technologies is a plus.
- Automation Testing Tools: Experience with automation testing tools like Playwright, Helix, Selenium is a plus.
- Mobile Automation Testing: Experience with mobile automation testing tools for Android and iOS is a plus.
- Continuous Integration Tools: Experience with Continuous Integration tools such as Jenkins, Bit bucket, and Github is a plus.
