The Cash and Trade Procurement Analyst 1 is an intermediate-level role within the Transaction Services team, responsible for executing complex transactions and participating in sophisticated processes. The primary objective is to act as a subject matter expert while processing all regular transfers, payments, trade transactions, and wholesale card activity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process all regular, restricted, and legal transfers, including the processing of payments, receivables, trade transactions, liquidity flows, and wholesale card activity.
  • Ensure transactions are processed efficiently, serving as a subject matter expert and recommending process improvements.
  • Evaluate and recommend solutions to problems through data analysis, technical expertise, and precedent.
  • Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables with internal and external clients and vendors.
  • Contribute to and collaborate with cash & trade operations projects as needed.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of how the cash & trade operations team interacts with others to accomplish objectives.
  • Aptly assess risk when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Prior relevant experience is preferred.
  • Fundamental comprehension of financial industry regulations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective communication and analytical skills.

Education and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience is required.
