Maersk is embarking on an industry-defining transformation, expanding its capabilities to become a true end-to-end logistics provider. As a Global Logistics Project Manager, you will play a key role in leading new customer implementations for accounts owned in the region or area with medium complexity level, geographical scope, business scale and impact. Your mission will be to bridge sales and operational activities to ensure smooth transition of new or additional business into the Maersk Organization.

Job Description

You will be responsible for project management, leading the overall implementation project plan across all geographies, and ensuring delivery of all functions. You will provide timely project status to internal and external stakeholders, including critical milestones, Go/No Go stage gates, and operational readiness criteria. You will also escalate issues and mitigate risks for resolution promptly.

Customer Relationship Management

You will establish good relationship building with customers, lead them through the onboarding process to keep within the approved project scope, and act as their centre of gravity on implementation and issue resolution. Delivering on customer promises is crucial, so you will work with related functions to establish critical deliverables such as SOP/IOP compliance across all origin and destination offices, recruitment, training, and system readiness in part of Go-Live readiness.

Commercial Engagement

You will contribute to securing new business wins by actively engaging in the sales process and presenting the implementation methodology. This requires a good understanding of platforms and IT landscapes and various Supply Chain Solutions. A customer-centric mindset and general knowledge on commercial engagement are essential for this role.

Implementation Community

You will be eager to learn and apply new learnings and best practices adopted by the CIM community. Seeking clarification or guidance to enhance your project implementation capabilities is encouraged. We are looking for a self-starter with passion, strong drive to continuously develop, and good problem-solving skills. PMP, ACP-PMI, or similar project management training or certification is a plus.
