Senior Frontend Development Manager

We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Development Manager to lead our team of talented developers in delivering cutting-edge software solutions.
About the RoleAs a Senior Frontend Development Manager at Endava, you will be responsible for mentoring and guiding a team of up to 10 developers in their daily activities and professional development. You will also facilitate the planning, implementation, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet agreed requirements and quality standards.
You will design, estimate, and implement technical solutions for high-complexity applications, actively participating in all phases of the application development lifecycle. Additionally, you will collaborate with various project stakeholders to provide support for clarifying requirements, processes, architecture, and priorities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and mentor a team of up to 10 developers by offering guidance and support in their daily activities and in their professional development.
- Facilitate the planning, implementation, and delivery of software projects, ensuring they meet agreed requirements and quality standards.
- Design, estimate, and implement technical solutions for high-complexity applications.
- Participate actively in all phases of the application development lifecycle.
- Collaborate with various project stakeholders to provide support for clarifying requirements, processes, architecture, and priorities.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 6+ years of experience in software development.
- Strong understanding of different common programming paradigms (OOP, Functional, etc.).
- Strong familiarity with design/architectural patterns and clean code principles (e.g. SOLID, GoF, MVVM).
- Proficient in relevant programming languages, frameworks, and tools such as JavaScript/TypeScript, Vuejs, Redux, HTML/CSS. Nice to have: NodeJS, NextJS, NestJS, Webpack, Babel.
- Strong experience specifically developing frontend solutions with Vuejs.
- Strong experience in relevant database systems and SQL.
- Advanced understanding of version control systems like Git or similar.
- Strong experience with testing and mocking frameworks.
- Good knowledge of various communication protocols and standards such as REST, JSON, TCP/IP etc.
- Considerable experience with Agile methodologies (e.g., SCRUM, KANBAN).
- Solid knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices.
- Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Advanced English.
