We are seeking a highly skilled Java software engineer with expertise in MongoDB to join our team at Gravity9. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in helping our clients adopt the latest version of MongoDB across their applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead team discussions and code reviews, ensuring high-quality code and best practices are followed.
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify, prioritize, and deliver features that bring value to our clients.
- Guide less experienced developers and provide mentorship and support.
- Work closely with clients to understand their business requirements and translate them into technical requirements.
- Design and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
Requirements
- Expert-level proficiency in Java 8+ and experience with Java 11/14/17 and OpenJDK.
- Hands-on experience with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases, including data modeling.
- Thorough understanding of Spring, especially Spring Boot, Spring Framework, and Spring Data.
- Experience working with Azure or AWS, including containerization, high availability, and failover scenarios.
- Proficiency in working with Microservice Architecture, including Docker and containerized applications.
- Experience writing unit and integration tests, as well as working with CI/CD pipelines.
