We are a company with over 15 years of experience in Colombia and the United States, helping clients optimize their technology development, including analysis, strategy, design, implementation, deployment, and maintenance.

At Vichara Technologies / Tech Labs Colombia, we are looking for an IT General Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for implementing, controlling, and managing assigned projects, maintaining a direct relationship with the client, and leading the work team, ensuring efficiency in assigned processes.
  • Engineering, quality assurance, and product support of the organization.
  • Delivering high-quality deliverables meeting SLAs, on-time and within budget.
  • Resource management and skill sets for each product in the organization, ensuring each team has sufficient skilled resources to meet product deliverables.
  • Developing and managing a skills escalation and promotion path for the product engineering organization.
  • Implementing tools and processes to optimize productivity.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in Software Development.
  • 5+ years of experience leading work teams.
  • Professional training in Systems Engineering, Software, or related careers.
  • Extensive knowledge in project management and implementation.
  • Experience working with Start-up is a plus.
  • Experience with US companies is a plus.
