Job Summary:
The Multilingual Freight Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring seamless shipment management within their assigned country. This position is dedicated to proactive customer engagement, serving as a bridge between customers and the DHL network to enhance the customer experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Respond consistently and confidently to customers by providing accurate information on shipment status, tracking, documentation requirements, transit times, and prices via phone calls and emails as required
  • Ocean operational knowledge covering shipment creation, track and trace, and delivery at destination
  • Enhance service experience in DHL by exercising professionalism and empathy when dealing with each individual customer's varying needs and demands
  • Effectively communicate with DHL Network colleagues, emphasizing urgency on behalf of the customer
  • Meet commitments to customers regarding follow-up/ongoing communication
  • Follow up with DGF operations for booking/schedule/pre-alerts; validate and share details with the customer
  • Coordinate/resolution of exceptions with DGF operations while sending proactive updates to the customer
  • Accept customer requests for quotations and send them to the Quotations team for processing; pass leads to Sales
  • Record and resolve customer complaints or assign tasks to other functions
  • Familiarity with Freight forwarding terms, specifically Incoterms, and ways to connect locally to offer best solutions to end customers

Requirements and Skills:

  • Professionals in industrial engineering, international business, or related fields
  • Minimum 1 year in Freight Forwarding
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and business skills in English, Portuguese, and Spanish
  • Customer service and communication skills
  • Teamwork and autonomy

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Estimated salary: $3,198,000 per year (net)
  • Type of Contract: Indefinite - Directly with DHL Colombia
  • Performance bonus up to 13% of salary ($415,740 max)
  • Food Allowance: $95,564
