Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Quality Assurance Functional Associate to coordinate and execute testing for multiple projects or releases while working with Agile or Waterfall software development teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and executing test plans, ensuring the optimal use of testing resources while adhering to quality assurance policies and procedures.
  • Scheduling and approving the release of projects into the UAT environment, coordinating resources, people, and environments on a daily basis to meet specific project requirements.
  • Executing complex test plans, managing multiple stakeholders with conflicting time and needs requirements, and collaborating with the development group to resolve defects.
  • Assessing the results of UAT tests, taking appropriate action, and making recommendations to release the code to Production.
  • Providing hands-on training on systems, hardware, environment, product, standards, and methodology to test team members.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • 2+ years of software development experience, preferably in Waterfall and Agile environments.
  • Knowledge of SQL and ability to write complex queries.
  • Experience working with Java, SQL, BDD, and POM.
  • Able to propose solutions independently in pursuit of established objectives.
  • Strong working knowledge of department-related software.
  • Well-developed leadership ability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Superior analytical skills.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary of approximately $80,000 per annum, plus benefits including a comprehensive health insurance plan, retirement savings plan, and generous paid time off.
