Plan A Technologies seeks an experienced Backend Technical Lead to spearhead the development of scalable and fault-tolerant systems, mentoring a talented team of engineers. As a key leader, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring our backend systems are high-performing, secure, and future-ready.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Design and Implementation: Develop scalable, fault-tolerant, and highly available data services to ensure robustness of the solution.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and support the development team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
- Best Practices and Guidelines: Adhere to and propagate best practices concerning design, coding, testability, and security amongst junior engineers.
- Complex Problem-Solving: Develop solutions to tackle complex business and technology problems, provide technical guidance to the backend team.
- Knowledge Sharing: Conduct technical sessions for internal teams, external partners, and customers, acting as a knowledge-sharing hub.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in software development with expertise in C#/.NET, honed in agile methodology environments.
- At least 5 years of experience as a technical leader, demonstrating project initiation, decomposing and explaining the solution to team members, delivery responsibility, and technically supporting a development team.
- Solid knowledge of software design principles, best practices, and ability to establish processes and procedures that yield deployable solutions in adherence to a Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure, including containers, relational and no relational databases, and cost optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of conducting technical sessions, demonstrations, and addressing technical challenges in projects.
