Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Operations Specialist to join our team at Monks. In this position, you will be responsible for analyzing and interpreting financial data to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.

About the Role
You will work closely with our international teams to ensure consistent application of accounting policies across the enterprise. Your responsibilities will include verifying and reviewing intercompany requests, determining appropriate accounting details, and recording financial transactions between different legal entities within the same parent company.

Key Responsibilities
* Verifies and reviews details of intercompany requests received* Determines appropriate accounting details (e.g. GL accounts, Cost Objects, Transaction Type, Tax Code, etc.)* Records financial transactions between different legal entities within the same parent company* Posts intercompany journal entries on both sides* Reconciles intercompany balances* Performs currency revaluation for all entities* Communicates with regional team for any reconciling item* Ensures timely expense recognition for year-end Intercompany related accruals* Collaborates with International teams to ensure consistent practical application of accounting policy across the enterprise

Requirements
* Bachelor degree in Accounting, Business Administration or related field* 1+ years accounting experience preferred* QuickBooks and Netsuite experience preferred* Experience in handling international subsidiaries* Strong Excel skills is a must* Upper English communication skills is a must (both written and spoken)* Excellent verbal and written communication skills* Excel in analytical and problem solving skills* Strong work ethic and ability to adapt to rapidly-changing environments
