Job Description:

The Project Coordinator will play a crucial role in overseeing construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in planning and overseeing construction projects from start to finish, ensuring seamless execution and timely completion.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors and construction crews, fostering effective collaboration and communication.
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks, and ensuring timelines and deadlines are met.
  • Prepare and maintain project documentation, including schedules, budgets, and reports, to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with building and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for all stakeholders.
  • Communicate effectively with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Resolve any issues that arise during construction, escalating concerns when necessary to ensure project success.
  • Assist in evaluating project costs and providing cost-control measures to optimize resource allocation.
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and quality control, ensuring projects meet or exceed client expectations.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
  • Proven experience in construction project management or a similar role is essential.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations is required.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills are necessary to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities are essential for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines is critical in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Proficiency in project management software and MS Office Suite is required.
  • Proficiency in relevant software tools and platforms used for estimating and scheduling in the construction industry is necessary.
