About the Role

Masabi is driving the fare payment revolution, powering journeys of millions worldwide. We're seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our new development team in Latin America.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of 10-20 developers, ensuring successful project delivery and operational excellence.
  • Partner with Product Managers to groom backlogs, estimate future work, and negotiate dates.
  • Coordinate cross-team technical activities and ensure technical decisions align with Masabi's standards.
  • Operational excellence within the team, including triaging support issues and ensuring uptime of services.

Requirements

  • Good command of English.
  • Background in software development, having been a senior developer in at least one team.
  • Experience with Java applications and managing teams in an Agile environment.
  • Full responsibility for delivery and outcomes for your department in previous roles.
