This is an exciting opportunity to join Turner & Townsend's Project Controls Talent Pool, where you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for delivering project controls across construction projects. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for monitoring and analyzing project schedules, ensuring accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment, and performance reporting.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver project controls across construction projects with experience in construction, infrastructure projects, and plants mounting on site.
- Lead the programme controls function for a programme, monitoring for accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment, and performance reporting.
- Manage key inputs including task lists, logic, milestones, resources, calendars from design phases through to construction.
- Monitor trends and analyze schedule impacts with the project team.
- Prepare status reports.
- Ensure standards, formats, and timeframes are maintained.
- Re-base line the schedule when required.
- Ability to transport to site.
- Experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing planning and scheduling functions, which include schedule development, control, and analysis, in the field and the home office.
- Skilled in oral and written communication (English and Spanish).
- Proficiency with PC operating systems, with proficiency in several basic software applications.
- Proficiency with multiple discipline-specific software applications such as Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Applications.
- Knowledge of engineering, architecture projects, and construction management.
- Availability to travel and move around cities.
- Engineering or Architecture degree is desired, with experience in construction projects.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Experienced in P6 or Microsoft Project. Knowledge in @risk is desirable and other tools related to project controls.
- Good communication, written, and oral.
- Problem-solving and leadership skills.
- The ideal candidate is someone analytical, organized, self-start.
