Key Responsibilities- Design and Implement Data Integration Solutions: You will design and implement data integration modules for ETL functions, ensuring seamless data flow and accuracy.
- Collaborate with Business Stakeholders: You will work closely with business stakeholders to obtain data requirements and perform data analysis, providing valuable insights to inform business decisions.
- Investigate New Technologies: You will investigate new technologies and advances, especially in the areas of ETL and Cloud, to stay ahead of the curve and drive innovation.
- Support QA Processes: You will work with cross-team product owners, developers, and test engineers to support QA processes, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Communicate Effectively: You will effectively communicate and build rapport with team members, stakeholders, and business partners, using a variety of techniques and collaboration from initiation to close.
- Actively Pursue Operational Efficiency: You will actively pursue effective and efficient operations of your respective areas, in accordance with Scotiabank's Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles.
- Language Fluency: Language fluency in English (B1+) and Spanish is required.
- Talend Experience: 1-2 years of experience using Talend for ETL/Data Integration/Data Warehousing is required.
- Linux Experience: 1 or more years of experience working in a Linux environment is required.
- Job Scheduling Experience: Job Scheduling experience (TWS, Autosys, Control-m, etc.) Autosys preferred.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, organizational, and detail-oriented skills, strong communication (both verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, ability to troubleshoot and solve complex technical problems, and a willingness to take ownership of tasks assigned.
