We are seeking an experienced Travel Medical Physicist to join our team. This role is perfect for someone who wants to travel and gain new experiences while working in a dynamic environment.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for providing medical physics services to patients undergoing radiation therapy. You will work closely with our team of healthcare professionals to ensure that our patients receive the highest level of care.

This is a 13-week assignment, and we are offering a competitive salary of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also receive comprehensive benefits options, including health insurance, 401(k) matching program, and weekly direct deposit.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Determine the need for, specify, and access dosimetrist and treatment planning equipment.
  2. Maintain responsibility for the design and implementation of quality management programs involving external beam radiotherapy equipment.
  3. Participate in chart rounds to ensure the fulfillment of prescriptions and review changes in dose and patient set-up.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Physics or Medical Physics from an accredited college or university.
  • 3 years clinical radiation physics work experience.
  • DABR – Therapeutic Medical Physics certification.
  • ARIA, VARIAN, TRUEBEAM experience.
  • BLS certification.
