The Financial Institution Group (FI) plays a pivotal role in assigning and upholding both international and national credit ratings for financial entities and their debt instruments globally. This Group is divided into three distinct regions: APAC, EMEA, and Latin America.
The BRM Group within Latin America is tasked with managing agreements and fostering commercial relationships with issuers throughout the region. Our Latin America BRM team operates from various locations including Mexico City, Bogotá, Santiago, Costa Rica, and São Paulo.
What We Provide:
The intern will report directly to a Director situated in São Paulo, receiving guidance from a Market Research Associate based in Bogotá.Responsibilities:
This position will primarily focus on assisting the team with the KYC – Know Your Customer process.Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will be an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in economics, finance, business administration, accounting, or a related field, with minimal or no prior experience. Minimal or no prior experience is required. Proficiency in both English and Spanish is essential. Strong writing and communication abilities are necessary. Attention to detail is crucial. Ability to meet deadlines is important.Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the Portuguese language is advantageous. Familiarity with the Know Your Customer process and Down Jones tools would be beneficial.Why Choose Fitch?
