Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Structural Engineer to join our Sao Paulo office and contribute to the design of waterfront structures and marine infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities- Manage projects, including budgets, scheduling, and documentation preparation, support, and evaluation
- Provide construction support and resolve design problems through field investigation or inspection
- Design detailed plans and structural analysis for maritime and waterfront structures
- Perform finite element static and dynamic structural modeling
- Prepare design concepts, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates
- Coordinate plan details with drafting technicians
- Prepare inspection reports as needed
- Collaborate with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; required
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering; required
- Ph.D. in Civil or Structural Engineering; preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure; required
- Years of experience in structural engineering design; required
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and presentation)
- Availability and willingness to travel
Sedentary for prolonged periods, interact with clients, and travel occasionally.
