The Payroll Operations Coordinator will play a crucial role in managing payroll functions for the organization. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can ensure the accuracy and timeliness of payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:- Support the Senior Accountant in the monthly payroll calculation and execution for the organization.
- Collaborate closely with the Operations and Human Resources departments to guarantee precise payroll reporting.
- Ensure that payroll journal entries and accruals are recorded accurately and promptly in the general ledger.
- Assist in conducting monthly payroll and tip reconciliations as part of the month-end closing activities.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Senior Accountant.
Required Experience & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting.
- 3 to 5 years of demonstrated experience in a payroll role within a dynamic environment.
- Proven expertise in all aspects of payroll and payroll processing, including payroll taxation.
- Experience managing payroll for a workforce exceeding 500 employees.
- Self-motivated with a strong commitment to excellence.
- Solid understanding of standard fiscal procedures.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office, with a strong emphasis on Excel.
- Fluency in English.
- Outstanding multitasking and organizational capabilities.
- Able to work independently with minimal oversight.
