Business Intelligence Engineer Position

At Intellias, we're looking for a skilled business intelligence engineer to join our team in Colombia. This individual will be responsible for designing and implementing effective data models using Looker, developing AI-powered analytics using Gemini, and optimizing prompt engineering strategies.

As a business intelligence engineer at Intellias, you'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies, including Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and contribute to the development of innovative reporting solutions. Our team is passionate about pushing the boundaries of innovation and solving complex technical challenges.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in Looker, including LookML, Gemini deployment, and Looker administration.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a must have.
  • (Preferred) Experience integrating Gemini AI into Looker for AI-powered analytics.
  • Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) , particularly Cloud Run, IAM/Role Security, and Vertex AI .

Responsibilities:

  • Configure and manage Looker , including setup, LookML development, and Looker optimization.
  • Develop and implement Gemini AI integrations in Looker , leveraging function calling, structured outputs, and model configuration.
  • Optimize prompt engineering strategies for Looker and AI-driven analytics.
  • Design and maintain SQL-based data models within Looker for robust reporting solutions.
  • Automate deployments and workflows using GitLab CI/CD .
  • Work with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services, including Cloud Run, IAM/Role Security, and Vertex AI , for AI-powered reporting frameworks.
  • Implement test-driven development methodologies tailored to LLMs and reporting frameworks .
